Join Charlotte Street, organizers Eric Steen, Elysia Contreras, and Zach Springer, Boulevard Brewing, home-brewer Pancho Luna, and special guests for the unveiling and one-time-only free tasting of several special Westside-inspired brews! At la Esquina, 1000 West 25th Street, KC MO, 5-8pm, and FREE!

Exclusively for this show, Boulevard has made a beer to epitomize the feelings, experiences, and culture of the Westside neighborhood. In addition, Pancho Luna, a homebrewer and volunteer at Boulevard, has created ‘beer portraits’ of Westside community members Felix Pacheco and Pat Zamora. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience these brews and learn more about the neighborhood and individuals that inspired them.

The evening will also feature an information booth hosted by DeLaSalle Education Center, marking the 20th anniversary of the first school year of the Alta Vista High School which it co-founded with the Guadalupe Center. Plus, a visit from Amalgam Enigma: A Space Worm Processional, a group of musicians and performers traveling through the Westside and Crossroads for First Friday. And free pretzel bread provided by Farm to Market Bread!
