Archie Scott Gobber will be the Artist In Residence at The Nelson-Atkins from August 14th through August 27th. Archie Scott Gobber currently works works in Kansas City, Missouri and received the Charlotte Street Foundation’s  Visual Artists Award in 1998. Gobber will be challenging how traditional information is presented in museums with his Pop-Art “headlines.”  Visitors will be asked to reconsider how they digest information and themes in a museum setting. This residency is part of collaboration with The Nelson-Atkins Museum for Charlotte Street Foundation’s Every Street is Charlotte Street 2017 initiative.
