STUDIO RESIDENTS SLIDE SLAM

Charlotte Street Foundation kicks off the 2017-18 artist studio residency term with the annual “Studio Residents Slide Slam.” The Slide Slam event is a great way for artists to introduce themselves to their peers. The public is invited to come watch 30 new studio residents as they introduce themselves in unique and interesting ways.

Slide Slam is an informative and entertaining evening featuring 3-minute slide presentations (think Pecha Kucha on amphetamines) from each of the 30 incoming studio resident artists. The fast paced presentations are intended as an introduction to the work, ideas, processes, and personalities of these diverse artists. The event will take place at OfficePort KC, which is located at 208 W 19th Street in Kansas City, MO.
