In Art through Architecture, Opportunities

NOTE: Artists DO NOT need to be previously affiliated with the Art through Architecture program to apply

Art through Architecture, in collaboration with Missouri Bank, seeks proposals from artists wishing to be considered for the Missouri Bank Crossroads “Artboards.”  The Artboards are exterior, double-sided billboards rising above Missouri Bank, 125 Southwest Boulevard, which present commissioned images by Kansas City area artists, changing approximately every four months.

Proposals for the Artboards are invited from all interested non-student artists 21 years of age and older living within a 60 mile radius of Kansas City, Missouri.  It is expected that 6-8 artists will be selected from this call for proposals, to produce two Artboards each, to be presented March 2013 through early/mid 2014.

Art through Architecture, a partnership of Charlotte Street Foundation and American Institute of Architects-Kansas City, administers the Artboards in collaboration with Missouri Bank. Proposals submitted in response to this call will be reviewed by a panel comprised of representatives from Missouri Bank and Art through Architecture.
