LYLAS, Collaborative Group Exhibition – Opens January 31

Charlotte Street is pleased to present LYLAS, an exhibition of contemporary artworks opening Friday January 31, 6-9pm at Project Space, as part of the Charlotte Street Studio Residency Program ¶ Series.

LYLAS came about as a means for five artists from around the county to stay in touch and sustain creative energy. Materials and concepts in the show reflect their collective consciousness; a palimpsest of identities and sexual perceptions, conveyed through both nostalgic and novel ephemera, mediums, and technologies. All of this is explored with a sense of humor and playfulness.
