Situated within the broader context of today’s globalized workforce, individual artists within Lift With Your Legs utilize the outsourced labor of others, or the embedded labor of machines, as secondary parties within their practice. Traces or memories of those secondary parties linger either on the surface or in the structure of resulting artworks, recalling theoretical notions of ‘the hauntological.’

Featured Artists: Noah Barker (Chicago, IL), Nick Broujos (Baltimore, MD); Joel Holmberg (NYC); Benjamin Asam Kellogg (NYC); Wyatt Niehaus (NYC); James Orlando (NYC); Thomas Pregiato (NYC); Christian Velasquez (Kansas City, MO).
