Charlotte Street Foundation Presents,
A Performing Arts Showcase
featuring Charlotte Street performing arts studio residents at Paragraph Gallery

Charlotte Street Foundation is pleased to present a free public Performing Arts Showcase featuring Charlotte Street performing arts studio residents. The Showcase will be Friday, July 22nd 12-8PM at Paragraph Gallery, located at 23 E 12th Street KC, MO 64106, with performances by Mackenzie Reed, Brian Padavic, Arnold Young, Amado Espinoza, Catherinette (Cody Kauhl & Mikaela Sullivan), and Joshua Williams/Shades of Jade.

Over the past 12 years, studio residents in Charlotte Street’s Residency Program have observed the ongoing transformation of downtown, KC from a ghost town to a bustling metropolis. Inspired by the evolving landscape of our city, the residents’ performances are a response—a dialogue—to the ever-changing landscape of downtown, Kansas City. Performances will range from improvisational jazz to folk-influenced sound, experiments with self-made instruments, theatrically performative piano compositions, and collaborative/multi-disciplinary approaches to music and performance.
