Charlotte Street partners with the AWP (Association of Writers and Writing Programs) to host Wednesday Night Poetry, the longest-running consecutive weekly open mic series in the country.

February 7 will mark the 1,828th week in a row since the founding of Wednesday Night Poetry on February 1, 1989. Over fifty award-winning poets from across the country will share one poem in the Charlotte Street Stern Theater.

Doors open at 5:30 PM

Performances from 6:30-10:30 PM

Come to listen, and stay for a community and togetherness. Wine and refreshments will be provided with generous support from the Mid-America Arts Alliance.

Wednesday Night Poetry is a safe space where visitors are welcome to come and go as they please. This event is hosted by Inaugural Poet Laureate of the city of Hot Springs, Kai Coggin.
