As part of the city-wide program Every Street is Charlotte Street celebrating Charlotte Street’s 20th anniversary, The Blue Room at the Jazz Museum will feature an evening of music with 2016 CSF Fellow, Eddie Moore with his band the Outer Circle Tuesday, April 11th from 6-9PM with special guests, Duncan Burnett and Renee Blanche. The event is FREE and open to the public.

ABOUT EDDIE MOORE
Eddie Moore is an accomplished pianist, composer, music director, educator, and bandleader. Raised in Houston, Texas, Moore is a lifelong musician traversing a number of bands and styles before going back to school to get a Master’s degree in Jazz Studies from The University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Eddie’s skill and diversity have allowed him to work as a professional musician touring internationally as a pianist, composer, producer, and educators performing and or recording with artist such as Bobby Watson, Pam, Watson, Logan Richardson, Hermon Mehari, Maurice Brown, Joe Chambers, Andre Hayward, Tivon Pennicott, Kemet Coleman, Various Blonde, Book Of Gaia, IamNobodi, Dominique Sanders, Roy Hargrove, Lonnie McFadden and Neon Collars which has shared the stage with Erykah Badu, Mos Def, Bilal, and the Robert Glasper Experiment. In 2016, Moore released his third album with The Outer Circle, “Kings & Queens” under Ropeadope Records. “Kings and Queens” is a 3-part suite inspired by African-American history. Moore’s music celebrates the human experience while honoring the legacy of the American Idiom through his commitment to artistic inclusiveness and innovation.
