Earth/Work: Potential Futures Town Hall is a moderated discussion with the aim to find consensus on key environmental issues and concerns facing our community.

Grown out of last year’s Earth/Work conversation series and the exhibition Potential Futures: Prototypes, this town hall aims to initiate action to make a sustainable future we envision. Through moderated discussions, the program will continue dialogue on alternative ways of living, sustainable futures, and creative strategies around reducing our environmental impact in Kansas City and transforming our connections to each other and our planet.

The program will give time for the public to share ideas, voice concerns, and propose solutions with a goal of selecting a few key areas of consensus for future pursuit.

Earth/Work: Artists & Sustainable Living was a conversation and workshops series held March–April 2023 at Charlotte Street organized by Elizabeth Stehling Snell. Potential Futures: Prototypes was a socially-engaged group exhibition at Charlotte Street, on view during August–September 2023 and curated by Kimi Kitada.
