EMS Presents is a monthly improvised/experimental music series curated by Seth Andrew Davis & Evan Verploegh, which is an extension of the ensemble Extemporaneous Music Society. This month’s performance features Alberto Racanati, Meagan Conley, Seth Davis, and Evan Verploegh. EMS aims to highlight local improvised/experimental music practitioners as well as national/international artists to bring them to Kansas City and shine a light on the local community and build a local and international improvised music community.

About EMS Presents

EMS (Extemporaneous Music Society) is a newly founded free improvisation/contemporary music collective & ensemble based in Kansas City. The mission of the group is to help grow and facilitate an improvised/experimental music scene in Kansas City through performances, collaborations, workshops, and a concert series. EMS was founded by Seth Andrew Davis & Evan Verploegh along with Ben Baker & Krista Kopper.
