Horizontal Floor Exercise w/ Vaughan W. Harrison & EleveN2wenty2

Join us at 3:00 PM on Saturday November 9, when Vaughan W. Harrison, in collaboration with the vocal trio EleveN2wenty2, will be performing three songs: “Weep, O Mine Eyes” by John Bennet, “Ubi Caritas” by Ola Gjeilo, and an original arrangement of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” music directed by Vaughan W. Harrison.

EleveN2wenty2 is a professional vocalist trio based in Kansas City, Missouri. The group consists of soprano Kai Manning, alto JaNay Adgers, and tenor Darius Sheppard. The members of EleveN2wenty2 came together in 2011 when their church formed a youth praise team. In 2018, after a brief period of not singing together due to their pursuits of college degrees and starting careers, the group reunited to provide background vocals for gospel artist Chrystal Rucker. Inquiries began to pour in. JaNay, Kai, and Darius realized that there aren’t many groups specializing in background vocals, so they decided to officially brand themselves EleveN2wenty2 to commemorate the first gig they sang together as a reunited group. Though EleveN2wenty2 still provides background vocal services, they have stepped to the forefront and are exploring their own artistry as featured artists by headlining their own shows and releasing original music!

Vaughan Harrison is a multidisciplinary artist in Kansas City. He is currently portraying Beadle Bamford in “Sweeney Todd” at Music Theater Heritage. He also owns a multipurpose studio in Westport called Seen Studio.
