2025 Artist Assembly

Artist Assembly is a biennial program that seeks to identify the needs and assets of the Kansas City artist community. Individuals identifying as artists, culture bearers, and artist organizers come together for a four-hour long conference to identify needs facing the community as well as local resources that are available to them. In addition to hosting and moderating the conversation, Charlotte Street will document these efforts and will publish the content of these discussions. The publication serves both as a tool for the community to use in shaping the Kansas City arts ecosystem and as a framework for building Charlotte Street programs, resources, and materials in the coming years. Free lunch and daycare services will be provided to all participants.
