Level Up!! is a series digital tech workshops for artists across six Saturday intensive workshops for artists and by artists seeking support in producing digital media content.

In the third workshop, Light Right, Micah Thompson will showcase raditional and affordable approaches to lighting live staged performances for video/streaming production on a budget. Participants will learn terminology and equipment required/ hands-on LED light kit operation, lighting placement, proper complexion lighting.

Maximum of 10 Artists.

ABOUT MICAH THOMPSON

Micah Thompson is the Resident Lighting Designer for KC Public Theater based in Kansas City, MO. Micah earned his BA in Theatre at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has worked and designed with local theatre companies around the Kansas City such as the Fishtank Theatre and Kansas City Public Theatre. In addition to lighting design, Micah is a photographer and SPED educator in the Kansas City area who desires to enrich and inspire other through the arts in the community.
