Making Moves: Audience Encounters invites you to see dance in a new way. Artists preparing for Making Moves: The Festival 2024 will guide the audience through a series of bite-sized performance experiences designed to engage and captivate. Performance will be everywhere, onstage and off, as we move through the Charlotte Street Campus. Afterwards, grab a beverage and join us for a casual facilitated conversation in the lobby. Please join us!

ABOUT MAKING MOVES

Making Moves is a monthly dance performance series founded by Kyle Mullins in 2018, and curated and produced by Jeramy Zimmerman. Making Moves is an artist-led experiment. We are explorers on a journey of performance-making. We share ideas and process, always looking to deepen our craft and take our art to new heights. We are always looking for new voices, so if you are an artist looking for community, come see what we’re about! The audience is our partner on this journey, so we welcome your reflections and participation.
