On Saturday, June 12th Making Moves is thrilled to help celebrate the grand opening of Charlotte Street Foundation’s new campus. Haley Kostas will present “Limbo”, her new work for three dancers that explores uncertainty and a longing for stability. The performance will take place at 3:00pm at the South entrance at 3333 Wyoming Street with an approximate ten-minute runtime.

FROM THE ARTIST

Limbo surrenders to the feeling of being stuck in the manic of the middle, the unstable whiplash that lasts, the space that separates high from low—the mental state between reality and a dream. After being caught in the realm of uncertainty for a year plus this equivocal time warp comes with a longing for stable and steady ground, while asking us to give in—or perhaps get used to the turbulent ways that force us to live in rebound without recovery.

Dancers: Kelsey Matsch, Haley Kostas and Elaine Kimble-Peaks
