Join us for our bi-monthly Making Moves program, Open Moves, where you can let you inhibitions fly as you find you inner dance and rhythm.

We believe that everyone is a dancer – we’re born with it! So whether you’re a pro or you dance when nobody’s looking, come out and make it a party! This month, EMAS Presents will be creating electronic music live to create the mood. You don’t want to miss it!

Open Moves begins at 7:30pm, and participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and to bring water. This experience is appropriate for dancers and movers of all abilities and backgrounds and is open to all.

ABOUT MAKING MOVES

Making Moves is a monthly dance performance series Founded by Kyle Mullins in 2018, and curated and produced by Jeramy Zimmerman. Making Moves is dedicated to the creation and development of new works by local and regional dance makers and to expose Kansas City audiences to a wider array of contemporary dance making.

Making Moves provides area choreographers, dancers, and audiences the opportunity to share in the process of new and experimental work in both traditional and non-traditional performance venues. Experimentation, risk-taking, collaboration, and multi-disciplinary approaches are encouraged.
