Monday, February 27, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM

Join us for the first Midwest Poetics Writing Workshop of the year led by artist and writer Unique, who will share his writing experience and expertise to bring everyone closer to the now.

Unique will highlight literary and breathing techniques to allow each writer to enter their flow effortlessly.

Midwest Poetics is an opportunity for artists to hold space for writing, reading, and literature. This workshop series centers connection, conversation, collaboration, and communal learning to heal and ask more questions. We happily give the spotlight to Black and Indigenous vocalists, poets, writers, musicians, and performers of color to celebrate their craft and facilitate our workshops.

This is a Lit space where we will workshop new material in a peer-to-peer setting in Charlotte Street’s Kemper Library every other month beginning in February 2023. This year’s Midwest Poetics will conclude with an end of the year showcase happening in December.
