Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 PM

The concept of ‘place’ is central to many of the artists presented in Charlotte Street’s upcoming exhibition SITE Seeing. Please join artists, architects and urban planners from Kansas City to discuss the concept of ‘place’ in their practices, and learn about how they have incorporated these ideas into works in the exhibition and their ongoing practices.

Participating artists: Corey Antis, Marcie Miller Gross, Christopher Spaw, Vladimir Kristic, Armin Mühsam, Caleb Taylor

SITE Seeing is a multidisciplinary exhibition connecting artists from Kansas City, Chicago, Portland, New York, and Los Angeles who are working at the intersections of architecture, site-specificity, abstraction, and perception. Ten artists and architects bridge geographies, philosophies, and material conditions to expand the meanings of space and address how identity and content is formed through this research.
