ABOUT RACHEL YOUN
Rachel Youn (b.1994) is a visual artist based in St. Louis. They received their BFA from the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. Recent solo exhibitions include Soy Capitán, Berlin, Germany; Hair + NAILS, Minneapolis, MN; the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, MO. Their work has been exhibited nationally in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, and Kansas City. Upcoming exhibitions include a solo show at Sargent’s Daughters, New York, NY, and group shows at Galerie du Monde, Hong Kong, and Laumeier Sculpture Park in St. Louis, MO. Youn is a recipient of the 2020 Great Rivers Biennial Award and has attended residencies at Vermont Studio Center and ACRE. They will attend the Yale MFA program in Sculpture in fall 2022.
