2014 Charlotte Street Visual Artist Awards Call for Submissions – Deadline December 5

Charlotte Street Foundation invites visual artists living and working in the 5-County Greater Kansas City Metro Area to apply for its 2014 Charlotte Street Visual Artist Awards. Three Awards of $10,000 each will be distributed in 2014.

The Charlotte Street Visual Artist Awards seek to recognize, encourage, and significantly support exceptional Kansas City-based visual artists of all media.  Awarded artists will be those who are actively creating new work in the visual arts field that is ambitious, imaginative, and contemporary, and who possess a sustained commitment to the development/deepening of their work and artistic practices.

Providing artists with financial support, critical recognition, and public exposure, these Awards aim to reward artistic accomplishment to date and to support the continued development of artists’ work and careers.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
All applications must be completed online through www.callforentry.org.

Applications will be due on Thursday, December 5 at midnight. No late applications will be considered.
