Rocket Grants, a project of Charlotte Street Foundation and the Spencer Museum of Art, funded by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, has selected its 2014 Selection Panel. The panel, representing diverse national and local voices in the arts, will be convening to select 2014 Rocket Grant Awardees on May 9, 2014.
Charlotte Street proudly announces the 2014 Rocket Grants Selection Panel: Juan William Chávez, Kemi Ilesanmi, Dave Loewenstein, and Mark Southerland.

In celebration of our national panelists, we will be hosting two interactive events:

May 8 – Hello, Neighbor: Making Art in Community
On May 8, Juror Kemi Ilesanmi will present Hello, Neighbor: Making Art in Community, at the Spencer Museum of Art from 6:30-7:30pm. Ilesanmi will discuss in detail The Laundromat Project, where she is Executive Director, and how an arts organization may deliberately help to create a community of neighbors, artists included.
