CALL TO ARTISTS: Visual Artist + Generative Performing Awards

Charlotte Street invites artists living in the five-county Greater Kansas City Metro Area to apply for Artist Awards:
—Three Visual Artist Awards of $10,000 apiece
—Two Generative Performing Artist Awards of $10,000 apiece

The Charlotte Street Visual Artist Awards seek to recognize and significantly support Kansas City-based visual artists of all media who are creating exceptional, contemporary work. The Charlotte Street Generative Performing Artist Awards seek to recognize, encourage, and significantly support artists creating exceptional new work in the fields of dance, theatre, music, opera, sound art, performance art, multimedia performance, spoken word, puppetry, and hybrid/interdisciplinary versions of all above.

Providing artists with financial support, critical recognition, and public exposure, the Charlotte Street Awards aim to reward artistic accomplishment to date and to support the continued development of artists’ work and careers.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
All applications must be completed online through www.callforentry.org.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, November 7, 2016 at MIDNIGHT. No late applications will be accepted.
