The No Place Like Home documentary “explores the challenges for acceptance and compassion that LGBTQ people face through stories of gains and losses- and the willful ignorance that continues to make this effort so arduous yet vital for the very soul of our humanity.”

This documentary is based on the book No Place Like Home written by author and Kansas native C.J. Janovy.

No Divide KC, C.J. Janovy and the No Place Like Home filmmakers are partnering to present a documentary screening with live performances from Kansas City-based queer artists. At this event, we will screen the entire film mixed with live performances that respond to the queer themes presented in the work.

Doors open 5:30 PM
Program 6:00 PM-7:30 PM
Artist Talkback 7:30 PM-8:00 PM

This event is donation-based and open to the public. Come be a part of Kansas/Missouri queer history!
