Local choreographer/dancer/performance artist Alexis Borth will facilitate an improvisational performance titled, “Comedy of Darkness,” based on the photography of Jeff Tamblyn, as part of the ongoing ProdoLAB series hosted by Charlotte Street Foundation, on March 23rd. A group of local professional dance artists will participate in its creation, with original music by Vena Cova (the performance alias of Kansas City-based composer and musician Colin Blunt).

ProdoLAB is a monthly experimental platform  in partnership with musician/composer Eddie Moore that pairs Kansas City time-based artists, producers, and musicians to collaborate on a new piece for a one-night-only showcase at Charlotte Street. Each performance is followed by a Q&A session with the artists.
