Join us for a special night of music with Trombonist Andre Hayward and We The People (Eddie Moore , Zack Morrow, Jason Emmond). A Q& A hang will will commence after the performance, while food will be provided by Macy Pruitt.

The performance will be hosted at Charlotte Street Foundation’s new performing arts space, Capsule. Capsule is located at 1664 Broadway Blvd in KMCO, right next to Los Tules. Parking can be found side streets (Broadway and 17th) and behind the venue in a gravel parking lot. The event is a preview for the African American Artists Collective, who will have a month-long residency in Capsule for December. More details about the month-long residency will be announced soon!

Andre Hayward:
Born in Houston, Texas in 1973, Hayward’s first exposure to the world of music was through his parents, Melvin and Barbara Hayward where musical talent exists on both sides.
A Thelonious Monk winning trombonist who has performed with Roy Hargrove, Betty Carter, Jazz at Lincoln Center, SF Jazz Collective, and Kirk Franklin to name a few. rnrnHayward has also served as jazz trombone professor at New School of Jazz & Contemporary Music, New York University, New England Conservatory, Michigan State University, Texas Southern University, University of Texas – Butler School of Music, and University of North Texas.
