Mid-America Arts Alliance is relaunching Artist INC Live in Kansas City in a new partnership with Charlotte Street.

Artist INC Live is an eight-week training program that connects artists of all disciplines to the tools, resources, and the opportunities necessary to develop their entrepreneurial skills and to strengthen their artistic practice.

Led by a team of seven trained peer facilitators, and designed for up to 25 participants, artists learn and grow together through artist facilitator mentoring, small group activities, large group discussions, multi-media lectures, and the opportunity to network with artists across all disciplines. One-on-One Coaching is embedded in the core Artist INC program. Utilizing the Artist INC staff and Peer Facilitator team, in-depth arts business counseling sessions are provided to all Artist INC Fellows first as a part of the seminar experiences and then by request post seminar.

Now in its twelfth year, Artist INC has been completed by more than 1,500 artists. Artist INC is supported in part by grants from the Windgate Foundation, the Hallmark Corporate Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Learn more about Artist INC at www.artistinc.art.

Sessions take place over the course of eight Tuesday evenings September 5-November 7, 2023 from 6:00–9:00 p.m. Applications open on May 1.
