Join us for Making Moves 10: Gathering. Featuring work by Ilana Silverstein and Jeramy Zimmerman, Gathering will take us through an evening of dance and process as experience. “Floating Ribs,” by Ilana Silverstein allows the audience to experience the dance making process first hand. Dancers will flow through meditative and explosive movement vocabulary revealing a disjointed, yet nurturing relationship. Jeramy Zimmerman will present a draft of a new solo work, “The Hunger,” in which she will challenge herself physically while exploring her connection with and proximity to the audience. Come partake and please stay afterward for wine and casual conversation.

The event is FREE and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the performance begins at 7:00 PM!

A monthly gathering, Making Moves aims to build community through a shared passion for dance and movement. Throughout 2019, Making Moves will host improvisation jams and provide performance opportunities for local and regional dance makers. The series is produced by Kyle Mullins and made possible by Charlotte Street Foundation.
