Statement of Work

Solomon Bass is a creative filmmaker with a unique perspective. He desires to use film as a platform to give a voice to the voiceless and those who feel marginalized in today’s society. He believes that films allow us to take a walk in another’s shoes and develop a sense of empathy thus creating a deeper level of understanding of differences, which may allow tough conversations to happen. Bass believes film transcends barriers and wants to leave a lasting impression on people. His work in writing, directing, editing and cinematography show attention to detail so that he can create the best experience for audiences.

Solomon organizational skills and love for the community gives him the ability to not only direct his projects but produce them as well. He treats his artist with honor and respect and gives them detail needs in advance. Graduating from Art’s Institute International of Kansas City, he learned to wear many hats. Starting off behind the camera he makes sure all footage is professional quality and knows how plenty about sound. Overall he loves to put his hands in all areas but focuses more on Directing and Producing.
